Roseland, NJ - Amano Cincinnati, Inc. (ACI) today announced that Michael John Lee, 51, has been named president,
with immediate effect. Mr. Lee succeeds Sam Okagaki, who will serve as ACI board chairman.
Mr. Lee is a strong, dynamic, international business leader with impeccable credentials and experience. In addition to his
broad international business experience, he is well respected for inspirational and motivational abilities, and his strong
strategic planning and forecasting proficiencies and comprehensive achievements in corporate acquisitions, joint ventures and
start-ups.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1976, Mr. Lee spent the next 12 years in positions of increasing responsibility
in the financial, strategic planning and acquisition arenas. He subsequently spent 13 years with Blick plc, a company listed on
the London stock exchange, ending his tenure as Chief Executive in 2001. He has since served in an advisory capacity for a
South African electronics company on its international expansion strategy.
Mr. Lee holds a Diploma in Accountancy Studies, University of Rhodesia, and is a graduate of the Senior Executive Program,
London Business School.
